The Isuzu 4KH1 is a turbocharged and intercooled 2,999cc inline-4 diesel engine with a 95.4 x 104.9mm bore and stroke, rated at 88kW at 2900rpm with 290N.m from 1500 to 2900rpm in China IV form using a 1,800 bar DENSO common-rail system and an oxidation catalyst. Built by Isuzu's Chinese joint venture as the successor to the 4JB1, it powers Isuzu's N-series light trucks and vans across Asian markets, offering strong low-end torque for urban delivery and cargo work with fuel consumption below 200g/kW.h.
