Isuzu JB Diesel Engine

Part of Isuzu's 4J engine family, dating to 1984 and among the highest-volume engine lines the company has produced, this compact diesel powered generations of Isuzu's light trucks and pick-ups worldwide. The 4JB1 is a naturally aspirated 2.77L direct-injection diesel engine with a 93 x 102mm bore and stroke, rated at 87PS in automotive form and 90PS in industrial form with about 183N.m at 2000rpm and a 230kg dry weight, and was widely used in the Isuzu Elf and NKR, the Trooper, the Faster and Wizard, and generator sets from the mid-1980s onward.
