Part of Deutz's compact TCD 2012 series, a 4- and 6-cylinder water-cooled in-line platform launched around Bauma 2010 for the lower power range, engineered to be 100-150kg lighter than comparable engines with all maintenance points on one side for easy servicing. The BF4M2012 is a turbocharged and intercooled 4-cylinder, 4.04L version with a 101 x 126mm bore and stroke, delivering 75kW for excavators, tractors, cranes, loaders and similar mobile equipment.
